In a study  conducted by Dr. Manani and co-workers, on the pharmaceutical equivalence of clarithromycin oral dosage forms marketed in Nairobi County, Kenya found out that a significant percentage of generic clarithromycin products are pharmaceutically non-equivalent to the innovator products, and that assay and single-point dissolution tests are insufficient demonstration of equivalence between the generic and innovator products.

The Pharmacy Practitioners oath was administered on Wednesday 30th 2016 in the School of Pharmacy boardroom.

The oath was administered to the (10) Bachelor of Pharmacy students who qualified and graduated during the 56th University of Nairobi graduation ceremony held on 2nd December 2016. The oath was administered by the acting Dean Dr. Kennedy O. Abuga.
