The Pharmacy Practitioners oath was administered on Wednesday 30th 2016 in the School of Pharmacy boardroom.

The oath was administered to the (10) Bachelor of Pharmacy students who qualified and graduated during the 56th University of Nairobi graduation ceremony held on 2nd December 2016. The oath was administered by the acting Dean Dr. Kennedy O. Abuga.

The pharmacy school Christian union, under the leadership of the committee, was able to raise a sum of sh54000. No monetary donation was made to the children’s home but rather all the money was used to purchase items for the children namely: foodstuffs, toiletries, stationery and beddings.

Dr Sylvia Opanga made two  seminar presentations on Thursday 26th August
2016 and Thursday 8th September 2016 on her completed PhD work titled " A
study on antimicrobial use and prophylaxis at KNH and its financial
implications."
The PhD seminar presentations are the inaugural ones in Clinical Pharmacy.
